Well book two is coming to its conclusion and heating up nicely, though my fingers can't keep up with my mind and type fast enough. The weather outside is cooling and forcing me to stay in more, so I have more time to write. I guess that's a good thing now the end is closing in.
But the dreaded part comes next. The Editing. and thats probably a blog all by itself. Oh well! Back to it, before Tavi or one of her pack-mates decide on another detour I don't know about :) Until next time, be good :)

Well the past few days have been very gray and wet. Not really suprising in the UK I hear you say, and you would be right, the winter is finally here to stay.
But it's all good. I get to stay in and catch up on Twitter, Facebook, my blog, and even my writing, yet I still find I have no time to do it all as well as I want to. Another good thing about this dreary weather is that when you go outside the wind blows the cobwebs away, though sometimes if the wind is strong and you haven't got your feet firmly planted on the floor, your behind can have an unexpected visit with the ground. That's so not as much fun as it sounds. Now it's off for some writing. Until next time :) During my time of twittering today I read a post that caught my eye. It said that self published authors shouldn't bother, as most people like himself only read known authors so he could guatantee what he was reading.
I can tell you I was a little shocked. How would we ever learn anything if we didn't try new things? And how does he think those well named authors became so well known? Someone had to be the first to read their books at one time didn't they? Oh well! I guess we're all entitled to our own opinions. Wow, what a busy day, though to be honest it's been a rather busy weekend. DIY is so not me it's an understatement.
I've had barely a few hours to spend with Tavi and Cade I think I'm getting withdrawl. It's kind of funny that I miss spending the time with them I guess, but to me it's a normal part of my day to spend it with them. Oh well,I guess I'll have to play catch up,and maybe, just maybe, I'll manage it. :) See you later. Angels Blood book 2 still has no name as yet, though the characters have finally decided what they are going to do.
It's coming along nicely, with a few new names and personalities being added into the mix. It seems things aren't about to quiet down just yet, and Tavi and a select few of the Camden Pack have to go looking for some answers. I do hope they find a few. :) Dreams are strange things. Are they something you long for? Something that has played on your subconcious mind? Or are they given to us for a reason?
I'm sure that there are many different beliefs by many different kinds of people, but i believe they are a gift. Sometimes we see lost loved ones, and that can be a comfort. Other times we see a different path we could have taken in our daily lives, which woud have changed the outcome of a choice we made. Then there are times we see something and think 'I'll have to write that down.' That's where I found Tavi Johns. There are some days I find I have no time to do all that I want to, then there are others I find I'm looking for things to do.
I wish everything could be spread more evenly over time, it would make things a whole lot easier. Today was a busy day that seemed to end too soon. Well i guess there's always tomorrow. :) I have to admit that I do wonder if other people see stories in their heads as I do. I would have thought other authors must do much the same thing, if not exactly.
Sometimes I find myself floating into a world inside my own head as I drift of to sleep at night. That's not so bad. I hear you say. But it is a little worrying when the same thing happens when I walk my dog. :) I wonder what it would be like if you could really change form into a wolf. How would the world look? I imagine running free would be wonderful, as well as having no worries about anything human. I don't think I'd want to have to hunt and kill my own food though.
I dont know about you but it seems the hours in the days lately just fly by. I always plan to do so much but barely scratch the surface.
Good Job there's always tomorrow. But they say that never comes. |
