I thought I'd take a moment today to catch you up a little on Angel's Blood 3. I know it's taking a while, but you know how life goes. One minute you know exactly where you're going and what you're doing, and the next it's all change, time runs away with you, and you seem to run as fast as you can while standing in one place. Now I can tell you it is being written. It's in the works and will be finished, but it might take a little time due to that little thing called life that keeps you hopping the tracks. Now, although it may take a little while, I did get the chance to do something a little different. Something I never thought I would do. It's a little something, inspired by a little someone, and I'm about to tell you just what that little something is. I got myself involved in a couple of charity anthologies. One you already know about, the one in aid of the McMillan cancer nurses. This one was near and dear to my heart, and due to that fact, I got involved in a second one and I've just been given word that there is hope that it will be published in this coming summer. There was, however, another one I got involved with, and this time it's for a children's charity. Well, it was something way out of my comfort zone I can tell you, and I wrote my piece, but unfortunately I didn't think it was long enough, so I wrote another piece and handed it in. That has yet to be finalised, and there is no date as yet, but as soon as I know anything I will let you know. Now here comes the little something different. I have to admit I let that first thing I wrote sit for an awfully long time. It sat on my laptop, catching my attention every once in a while, but due to what it was, and what I needed to complete it, I never thought I would get it to completion. This was almost two years ago, and finally I have it at the stage it's almost ready to publish. So, during the next couple of weeks I will get it all ready to upload, and then I will publish a small children's book that was inspired by my four year old granddaughter two years ago. I won't tell you what it is just yet, but stay tuned and you will see for yourselves soon enough. Keep an eye out on twitter, and on facebook, by following my links and you will be the first to know. Until then, I will give you something to ponder. I have been able to modify, and slightly adjust my work so it will work for children of all types of family dynamics. After all, it's only fair isn't it? :) And with that last note, I bid you a good evening and hope you all have a great end of the week and an even better coming weekend. Sallyann.
