Twitter religion.

Well here we are again, back to twitter once more, and another little issue I have with them. I was tagged in a message that said 'Vampirism and bloodguilt. If you don't change your ways you will die.'. Well you can imagine my shock, as I wondered if this person had actually read my bio. Did he send it because of my bio? or did he just send it to everyone? Well I have to admit, that once again my curiosity got the better of me and I clicked on the link. I know what you're thinking, that I should have learned my lesson by now, but you know what they say about curiosity :). Anyway, the link sent me to a page where they were preaching how vampire books, films, and TV programs, were making young people believe they could drink the blood of others, and were making them do some dangerous things.
Now I have heard (as I'm sure you have too) that there is many things that teach the young to do bad things, whether it's films, or games, or whatever they want to name. But forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't the parents have a lot to do with it, in how they bring their kids up. Or even the kids themselves, surely they all have a brain, therefore it's up to them to use it. Surely our younger generation know the difference between fact and fiction, if they don't then we're all going to be in for one wild ride in the years to come.
Well back to my twitter messager. I didn't want to be rude, but I didn't want it to continue either. So I sent a return message reading 'Thats what I write about, and I have my own beliefs. Please do not try and save me, or force your beliefs on me. Good day.'. It's pretty simple and too the point, without having to be crass or rude, and it seems to have worked. I did have to laugh though, that even in this digital age, it seems you can't get away from people trying to convert us.
Well another soap box moment (as a friend calls it) is over.
I will catch up with you again soon.
Sally.
